It was recently brought to my attention that this particular gem is a friend’s profile picture. Excuse me while I rage and rip all of my couches to shreds.

I don’t have a problem with strippers. Some women feel very empowered in their sexuality being a stripper, and that’s great. Some women love the money. Cool. My heart goes out to the women who don’t want to strip but feel they don’t have any other way to support themselves and their families, or put themselves through school, or whatever.
I do have a problem with young girls feeling that they aren’t smart enough to do math, or that school in general is a big waste of time because when they grow up they can just be hot and sexy and that’s what will get them places. The worst part about this? It’s probably true.
